Wow, ok. Look I'm no troll, hater, or anything but here's what I think,

You guys promised us a complete DRM-FREE game, now you are telling me that my copy has SecuROM installed? Seriously?? You lied to us

Then, we've been waiting for a whole week for the patch (I'm patient, i understand) but you release a half-assed non-working server side patch? What the hell?

Seriously, you guys have dropped the balls.

GOG version is the only one without SecuROM DRM. Now they are removing SecuROM from all the releases.

I understand but why in the hell have they put SecuROM DRM in the first place. They said the game would be COMPLETELY DRM-FREE. They kinda tricked me which I find it irritating.
Wasn't SecuROM forced onto them by their publishers?

Not only you fail at reading comprehension, you also fail at idioms.

The GoG version is completely DRM-FREE. It has some dummy files for SecuROM, but that's not the same as having SecuROM.
Actually, they were pretty up front that they were very opposed to DRM, but that only the GOG version would be guaranteed no DRM, and the retail versions would be up to their publishers. So, if you didn't want DRM, you should have bought the GOG version. Had you done your homework, you'd have known that.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I meant.
Link to where they said all versions would be DRM free? Put up or shut up.

I see. Thanks for the explanation.
