You must be wondering why am I putting this here and not on the Witcher 1 forum?!
Well, for one this forum is much more active and also the people that still stick around at that forum are sure to know much more about every little detail of that game which is against my purpose.

Anyways, my question is how many people know what happened to Alvin in Witcher 1. To figure this out I am going to put a little poll. I would like people to answer the poll options but not go into huge detail to not spoil it for those that do not know (they can find that out easily on the other forum).

1) He went away and you never saw him again.

2) He went away and you meet him again by the end of the game.

3) He went away and you hear about him later by the end of the game.

So fire away :)
Just to clarify, I do know the most popular version, I am not asking this to know it but how many people also know it.

well any answer should be the exact spoiler. I'm going to say what's not going to happen and leave two choises behind :) Option 1 is not going to happen. It's one of the wrong answers.

That's a tricky one. I'd have to go with 2) due to interpretation of certain hints.

(hope that's not too much detail, otherwise tell me and I'll edit it)

There's no confirmed answer, finish the game and you'll understand.

Yes, some people are saying #2, because there's some evidence and it seems obvious, but its never confirmed though

Although #2 is the most likely, there are large chunks of TW1 fans who are convinced a certain person only met Alvin.

Technically, #2 is sort of correct, although, not literally correct, perhaps, and also dependent on which decisions you made during chapters 4 and 5.

The actual truth is not stated and the developers have been extremely closed-lipped about the whole thing!

your answers are not very specific and to go into this even with the upmost discretion its asking for spoilers,

However the game does not tell you, you are left to put the pices together and they are pretty obvious pieces....
