Hi Everyone,

I have just downloaded The Witcher 2 today (21st August) but not run it as yet.
In the current download package there are 3 options for patching, 1 to 1.3.5 and 1.3 to 1.3.5 plus an autopatcher. Is anyone able to advise me if the game I have downloaded is already patched to 1.3.5?
I have been looking at the questions in the forum but there do not seem to be any patch queries like this for this month I know g.o.g. usually incorporates the latest patches in their downloaded games automatically which is the reason for my question.
Also, I did read in an older post that the 1 to 1.35 inclusive patch was faulty is this still the case?
What Is it best option, just start the game for the first time and then use the autopatch function or use the patches included with the download package?
Thanks
Don

Check the game version by going to "C:\Games\The Witcher 2\bin" and right-click "witcher2.exe" then Properties then Details.

v1.35 is v1.3.7010.49836.
I d/l'ed yesterday and it was at version 1. The main game installer installs a Registration patch automatically (I guess this is what replaces the DRM on the GOG version?). Then I ran the autopatcher which took it from 1.0 to 1.3. After that it downloaded a new 1.35 autopatcher and ran it, patching the game to 1.35.

Hope this helps.

I downloaded TW2 a couple of days ago from gog, it was at version 1 and launching the autopatcher said the game was already up to date? So i dowloaded the 1 to 1.35 patch and it works fine now.

I used the solution prior to yours, your autopatcher should have worked the same as bbohl's and mine did patching to 1.3 and then adding another autopatcher to bring it to 1.3.5
