coastie65: The Armor you can craft with the Kayran skin has a hood.
I'm wearing this armor now simply cuz of the stats, i'm one who would prefer no hood.

And yeah, the game kept equipping the Blue Stripes Armor for me after every cut-scene during the prologue.
Annoyed the crap outta me.
But, as said, once at chapt 1 it stopped.

To some extent, I would too, bit with the stats off that armor, I can live with the hood. Notice how the hoods change his facial looks ? Dark around the eyes and such.

Yes, it does make Geralt look and seem like darker more sinister character.

Frankly I would rather be able to remove the hoods on the armor that has them. I hate the look on Geralt.

Isn't he already pretty dark around the eyes?

I was thinking that, but when I put a different armor on him, no darkness around the eyes.
