I've got a problem with my install, it seems that most of the character textures in the game are really low and blurry.

I'm running:
Phenom 2 x6 1100T
6950 x2 in CFX (running latest 11.5B hotfix)
8GB RAM
Windows 7

I've got my settings on Uber, with large texture preload, ssao and ubersampling diabled.

Any idea what could be wrong? Thank you :)

All i can suggest to help is checking your settings from the launcher again, my settings changed to the lowest automatically quite a few times without even going to the settings screen.
Yeah, which version of the game are you running? With every update so far my graphics settings/controls were reset.

Also, did you edit the registry at all? I had this problem when I deleted a few things from the registry and had to do a complete wipe of the entire game then re-install it to get it to save my settings again.

I had this problem happened before. Changed your settings back to Ultra. Save it followed by disabling and ubersampling will do :)
Make sure texture downscaling is set to 'none' for the best textures available.
Also, for a bit more character detail disable dangling objects detail.

Common problem for sure. People just set things to High usually if they have a good rig without even fully reading.
Thank you for all the help - I've managed to fix the problem - but it wasn't anything listed above.

Turns out, for whatever reason, my mipmap setting was on low. I can't seem to find this setting anywhere in the CCC, and was only able to find out about it via the Radeon Pro.

Anyway, the game is now on uber for everything (except uber sampling), and is running between 50 and 60 FPS :)

You got that system and only get 50-60 fps? Something is clearly wrong i think.

I got an i7 920, 8 gb of ram, a 6870 and i use 7 64 bit as OS and i got about 70-80 fps. But well... i got this FPS out of combat so that may be the reason. If you get this FPS out of combat then like i said, there is a problem.

I think that my system must have an upper limit of 60 FPS, as I'm sure it would do more if it could.. I'm happy with 60, no point in doing more than that.
You've checked your vertical sync setting?

Turn off Vertical Sync, and you'll get more than 60, if thats what you want.

I am not sure but i think i had vsync enabled when i got that fps, must test it to be sure though.
OP you can probably turn on ubersampling and get acceptable framerates with that rig.

And if you wanna maximize your settings beyond the "Ultra" preset, you can use these settings (taken from neogaf forums):

[Rendering]
TextureDownscale=0
AtlasTextureDownscale=0
DetailTextureDownscale=0
MaxTextureSize=2048
MaxAtlasTextureSize=4096
TextureMemoryBudget=1000
TextureTimeBudget=10
MaxCubeShadowSize=2048
MaxCubeShadowCount=4
MaxSpotShadowSize=2048
MaxSpotShadowCount=4
FoliageDistanceScale=1.6
MeshDistanceScale=2.2
CharacterLodGameplayDownscale=0
AllowBloom=1
AllowShafts=1
AllowAntialias=1
AllowBlur=1
AllowDOF=1
AllowDecals=1.0
AllowVignette=1
AllowSharpen=1
AllowRain=1
AllowSSAO=1
AllowMotionBlur=1
AllowScatterDOF=1
AllowCutsceneDOF=1
DanglesLimiter=0
ShadowQuality=3
ShadowedLights=3
Fullscreen=1
VSync=0
UberSampling=0

Texture memory budget is the amount of ram it uses, right? So to what amount should someone with a 1024 mb graphics card set it max?
