So i'm at the "Royal blood" quest during act 2, and i know have a decision to condemn Stennis for the poisining of Saskia... or not...

I want to know i he ordered it, i only got some evidence that a certain priest talked with Stennis and that the priest had a second cup made and asked Stennis acces to the kitchen.... which doesn't necessarely mean that Prince Stennis agreed with this. I don't care if i get spoiled, if he had something to do with saskia's poisining then ill lynch that fucker.

So yeah spoilers are ok for once.
A later cutscene implies he did. However, I don't know if we're meant to truly know.

Everyone I know eventually failed the related quests for some reason. I checked and I did, too.
If you do the "magical crystal" quest first and watch all 5 crystals, you'll know, and will even be able to solve the quest.

That only reveals how she was poisoned, if you're talking about the Dwarf runesmith's part of that quest. Unless there's a super hidden Stennis crystal I wasn't able to find.

The question is how she got the mug and if Stennis was complicit. Which I could never get revealed.

You can understand it after Baltimore's Dream quest.

magical crystal quest? Where do you start it? Is it that magical item you need to search in order to cure Saskia? I started exploring the outskirts first, and without knowing it acquired triss bandana and after giving it to philippa automaticcaly triggers the Royal Blood quest with the peasant rebelling.

The thing is that after i gave the bandana, i've rmwrestled 40 times to buy me the 3000 orens dragon armor you can buy in vergen.

So i really don't want to restart that :p

yeah but when does that happen, i've got to choose know to lynch Stennis or not, and i don't want to reload, cause i just armwrestled 40 times in order to buy the 3 k dragon armor in vergen. And this was after i gave triss bandana to philippa.... automatically triggiring the Royal Blood quest.

I just want to know: did he had something to do with it A.K.A was he responsible? YES OR NO

he's guilty. your choice in there will effect the future king of that area and if you let him live, he'll oppose Saskia on the end game meetings.
saesenthesis :D
I've finished this quest and the evidence was inconclusive. So I made a decision without knowing the truth and... I have never experienced anything quite like it in a video game... Honestly, I quit the game and just walked around the flat for half an hour thinking about it...

I ended up siding with that fucker Stennis who wouldn't help Saskia and the bloody nobles who were just spouting some nonsense übermensch superiority shit but I did it because the peasant side was no better and the truth was unclear.

Maybe I made this decision because the memory of the Flotsam pogrom was still too fresh in the memory... I really don't know. I defended someone I hate and not because it would give me 10 renegade points.

This is the best quest I have ever seen in any video game.
He's absolutely guilty. Oh, there's no 100% proof that he's directly responsible, but he absolutely does not support Saskia, and he sure as hell would rather see her dead than alive.

Even as early as Act 1, you can hear Philipa point out how Stennis is only allied with Saskia because he, himself, has no army to speak of. All the nobles are only there because they have no choice, and this is really shown when you play the Roche path as you get to see their true face from the other side of the story.

I really think you're agonizing far too much over that scum. I didn't even take 3 seconds to decide to let the mob kill him. :p I was only disappointed I wasn't able to shove my own sword through that bastard.

Although Stennis is referenced to as a 'poisoner' in a cutscene, during the end of chapter 3, it is very clearly stated in the journal that the actual culprit, was Philippa.

Direct quote from the "Vergen Besieged" quest :

"...Among Philippa Eilhard's abandoned possessions, Gerald learned a shocking truth. It turned out it was the sorceress that poisoned the Dragonslayer ! Our hero had no idea what caused her to do so. But he guessed his finding was a trail of a bigger intrigue and saw all the previous mysteries in a new light..."

You get this entry after searching Philippa's house at the end of chapter 2, in order to shed some light into why she and Saskia departed so suddenly.

Ah, good find. :p I'd still kill Stennis in a heartbeat. ;)

In this case, the journal is incorrect. There is no evidence to support that she did the poisoning, only what she did afterwards.

It may be accidentally left in from a previous version of the game where that was indeed the plot, but it's not how things are in the release version.
what was the conclusive evidence that pointed to stennis guilt?

Or the reference in the cutscene might have been left there from a previous version, take your pick.

No evidence you say ? You find a book of poisons and antidotes in her house. Gerald himself states that such books describe both the poison and particular antidote in great detail. Philippa knew that the poison that would otherwise kill any ordinary man, would not have such a severe effect on Saskia due to her dragon origins. She knew exactly how to treat it. It was the perfect opportunity to charm her and manipulate her. She had both the motive and the tools.

On the other hand there are only circumstantial evidence against Stennis. Suspect : Thorak clearly proves that it was the priest that performed the actual poisoning deed, so to speak but it is never clearly revealed whether Stennis ordered the poisoning.

Either way there is no hard evidence against either party (eg a testimony of a witness) but in my eyes at least, Philippa had a lot more to gain and relatively little to lose when compared to Stennis. He is a lot of things but I find it hard to believe that even in his arrogance, he wouldn't realize that such an action would diminish his chances of truly being recognized as a ruler, considering that a poisoning would inevitably arouse suspicion and lead to the event as we experience them.
