ChaseDuncan: Now that I've played the game for a while I definitely think it was built for gamepad play. Maybe that's the difference?

VoodooEconomist: To each his own. I wouldn't even try it, since I don't like gamepads unless I'm playing TIE-fighter ^.^ My experience with KB+M is still very positive.
That's good to hear. Like I said, KB&M is my preferred style of play but I decided, since I'd bought an action-y title, to kick back and play it that way. All I've been playing for the past few months is Baldur's Gate:TotSC and Fallout so it seemed like a nice change of pace.
