This goes for any and all games so far that I've purchased from GOG.com. I used to be able to play games no problem less than three months ago. Took a break, and now I'm back, but after clicking the green play button, it greys out, sync's the saves, and then goes green again without launching the game.

I've done a full uninstall of everything GOG related, restarted the tower, reinstalled with the latest client from GOG.com, reinstalled the game, and tried again. Searching the forums has revealed no useful answers. Again, everything used to work fine, and now it doesn't. I am not a tech-savvy person either.

I am on Windows 10 Home
AMD Ryzen 5 2600 6-core Processor 3.4 ghz, 16gb RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti

Inability to start a game is very often down to security software. Temporarily disable your antivirus and/or firewall, even disable Windows Defender. Also, make sure your client and games are NOT installed into 'Program Files'/'Program Files (x86)' as these are protected Windows folders.

Reinstalled to a non-protected folder as you recommended, and temporarily disabled anti-virus and Windows Defender. Still no luck :(

This makes me hella sad, but FTL did work, so minor progress.

In that case, contact support. They will sort things out for you. Don't expect a reply at weekends though.
Thanks for the help so far Hickory!
