Ok.. so im anxious to get into the game and after an hour of problems I have at least got mine worked out.. I was just going to go off on my way and play the game but figured i would be nice and just leave this here for what its worth.

My first problem was clicking the launcher brought it up but it wouldn't do anything when I would hit launch game, only saying that patcher_ATARI.exe was ready to run.. but would do nothing.. Being on windows 7 i figured head maybe i need to run the launcher as administrator.. comes up same damn thing .. would just sit there if i clicked launch game. So finally i decided to do a search on my PC for that patcher_ATARI.exe.. Find its immediately .. So I run it as administrator.. Bam .. runs installs reinstarts launcher .. FINALLY WTF .. but im passed that

Problem two started now as it wants to do your activation code again that you typed in earlier.. ok fine .. put it in and it fails repeatedly... long story on this short.. if you have any ZEROs on your bookley put them in as the letter O... I only had one so if you have multiple your going to have to try combinations.. I don't know if its all misprints or the typing got lost in translation but yea.. after beating my head some more i gave that a try and it worked.. and yes it is definitely a ZERO printed on the book for you smart asses out there..

Any way Im off to play.. if this helps at least one person.. then great.. have fun

Bump since I see a bunch of new post that this already answers.. game is pretty good so far.. bit to tired to soak in all the functionality so far

Thanks for sharing.. I believe most CD keys ZEROs (0) and letter 'O' are mostly misinterpreted and many kinda scratched their head for that.

I had exact same problem but I returned my CE back to amazon after hour of frustration try to launch the damn thing. wish I come across this post sooner...
