It's kind of annoying that we have weight issues in the game and i agree Geralt should not be carrying unlimited weight.

I don't want to resort to cheat (unlimited weight mod).. I just want a CHEST DLC so i can store the armors, weapons, etc. that i wanted for collection into my chest.

Just made a chest DLC to be available in the center of town or inside a room in a tavern please?
I really don't find most of the items in this game to be even worth carrying. I beat Hard twice with minimal potion usage (pretty much only the ostmurk potion). I do agree with having a Chest or Bank regardless though.
I am totally with the OP. And I have a stinking suspicion that the 'storing stuff at the inn' was taken out for console considerations!
Why would a console version have anything to do with this?

That's a good point. I had a afirly decent, but weighty Armor that I didn't particularly want to sell. I dropped it in a room at the inn. Not such a hot idea, as it was gone when I returned.
Ever played Gothic? Next best RPG to TW, only older. There never was a weight limit for the hero to carry around. He would've been overencumbered with his scrolls and teleport stones alone.

And realistically? Even the lowest possible weight limit for Geralt is still ridiculous, given his artistic fighting style. Is he a mule or what? Noooo, because his bag is a magic one, of course. Birthday present from Yennefer.

I am very much for sticking to the lore, that's why my Geralt has white hair and no anime eyes or something. But on the expense of managing your inventory all the time instead of playing? No thanks. In the "real world", Geralt has his mare Roach carrying his junk. Since Roach didn't make it...

...either use what is possible and available or create this mod yourself - guess what, if it was possible to do without the SDK, we would be stumbling over storage chests already. ;)

I don't know what you mean about the Lore, when you could store equipment, etc at any inn and then pick them up at any other Inn in the first Witcher!
