Hello everyone!

I am player from Poland, so I'm sorry if you see any mistakes in this text :).

I have a problem with graphics in The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. First, my hardware:

ATI Radeon 5870HD
4GB RAM
ATI 3.2GHz processor

And if I choose ultra settings in "Graphics and language", my game has low details. My game looks almost identically on Ultra Settings and Minimally Settings and on every settings i see grid of map (black lines on the ground), Sorry, I can't show you screens, because my "PryScr" doesn't work in TW2.

Greetings.
From the top sticky:

Disable Anti-Aliasing, Anisotropic Filtering and adaptive Anti-Aliasing in Catalyst Control Center

If that doesn't work, try updating drivers, but it may be the problem that ATI are currently working on a hotfix for
I am lucky! I changed AA and others to max. quality, and TW2 runs on Ultra Settings with Ubersampling on 60-75 FPS.

Thank you my British friend!

Wait: you're getting 60-70 FPS with Ubersampling ON?

Now that would be an accomplishment, although simply not possible with your gear.
EDIT:
Ok, I solved the problem with the "grafic bug". Its beacause of an option in the catalyst control settings. In the tab games, there is an option for the midmapping details. There you have to choose quality an the squares disapeare. But I still have really low FPS even on low settings.
I have the the same problem with my system:

E6420 C2D @ 3,1 Ghz
Ati 4850
4GB RAM

Here is a picture of the grafic bug

I also get really low Fps even on low settings.

I already tried to reinstall the witcher 2, updated my ati drivers, and disabled the mentioned options in the ati options.

Can anyone help me?
