I haven't beat the game yet but i would like to know that if you can keep your character after beat the game. Also if there is any future expansion for the game do you have to play it all again? Cause if there is a future expansion pack i can directly use my developed character enjoy it. Thanks

Since the game auto saves at the very end, I'd like to think that save's only purpose is to be imported into either:

1) Expansions

and/or:

2) Witcher 3
Let's just get this one fixed first before we start giving them a free pass to cause all this crap all over again.
nice :D
also i m still on my first playthrough so does game delete old saves if a new game starts?

I'm now sitting at over 2k saves in my saves folder and am on my fourth playthrough. So...no. :p

I do a lot of hard saves, so I have taken to deleting most of the autosaves at the end of a day.

I like how the game handles them by default. But I save enough that if I have made it through a day with no major confusion or glitches I figure my hard saves should be enough to go back and reference things.

If one follows that procedure, and has finished one play through, just be certain to leave your final Aut Save intact. ;p

(There is a good mod out for maintenance and backup. Not sure if it is in the current sticky list, but it would be at WitcherNexus.)
