rivo101: i would like the save files to be saved in one slot, not a new save every time i press the save option in the menu.

(does that make sense) lol
Pretty sure autosave does that. Which is fine. I'm glad the save system works the way it does for the other saves. I had 211 saves when I finished my first runthrough. I've been able to re-play specific parts to answer questions very easily as I tend to have a save within minutes of most events/fights that anyone has bothered to question.

The only real change I'd like to see is if I start a new game, that starts its own list of saves relative to just that game. Now that I've started my second playthrough, keeping up with the previous 211 saves and not confusing them with the saves I'm generating in this new playthrough is god damn torture. :/

agga11: - Mutagens and armor enhancements should not be permanent.
I would say a mutagen by its very nature is permanent. Unless you can get another mutagen to revert the mutation ... ;)

Anyway, for me, some minor tweaks to combat to add a little fluidity instead of being sometimes stuck in an animation.
Plus, the map seems rather disappointing. It looks like it should be great, but the slider bar transitions too quickly.
I hate to say it, but some things remind me of the initial un-modded Oblivion release on PC where the console-effect made impossible to see enough stuff on the screen.

Plus, many of the things other people have said.

Still frickin awesome though.

A big thing would be difficulty. I mean, fair enough to those who are die-hard fans of this game and will only play on the highest difficulty. Not everyone is like that. When I select easy in a game, i expect it to be easy. I don't want to spend near enough to an hour on one particular boss. Its ridiculous. I can only imagine what the hardest setting would be like...
You shouldnt need the formula to make potions. I accidently sold my swallow formula while selling all the junk and now I cant make swallow and cant buy it anywhere.
My primary request, additional camera angle choices. I think this is a lot of my problems with combat. I really miss my overhead camera from TW1.

There needs additional keyboard bindings options.
Ability to bind the mouse wheel.
Ability to select a sign without casting it.
Ability to cast a sign without selecting it.
Secondary key binds for things so I can map my mouse buttons without overwriting the keyboard buttons.
A previous sign/item selection key ( not just next w/ keys 3 & 4 )
All pocket items should be displayed on the screen, with the current selected item highlighted. Or better yet, ability to use each item directly instead of having to select it first.

Actually, get rid of "selecting" a sign or item to be used, this is a horrible limitation carried over from consoles with joysticks. We have a keyboard, give us an action bar numbered 1-10 mapped to 1-0 on the keyboard and put the signs and pockets in it.

Option to completely turn off all QTE.
Fix boxing, the QTE implementation is horrible.
Option to completely pause when using the CTRL menu, not just bullet time.

Add a meditation button to the character & inventory screens, selecting it from the radial CTRL menu is so counter-intuitive.

Option to turn off the camera switching focus for finishing moves. Worse, by the time Geralt does his finishing moves, and then you regain control of your character, you're being stabbed in the back by the other 5 guys in the room.

Targeting loot bags on the ground is very difficult. Map a different button for picking up loot and make it target the nearest lootable item automatically.

Make better use of the available space on inventory & character screen. The stats of the selected item in the lower left corner under the inventory list, that box could be a lot bigger and shouldn't need to "scroll" automatically like it does.

Mouseover comparisons to your equipped items.
Show which recipes are already known, make them go into a book so you're not carrying around actual recipes.

It's obvious most of the complaints people are having about the UI were decisions made to accommodate a console release. I'd dream of a PC oriented interface being patched in but I've come to realize from being disappointed by other developers, this will never happen. CDPR made it this way for a reason, so they can release console versions as easy as possible, and to be damned with the PC users. In hindsight I should have known better with the number of times they said "PC exclusive, PC this, PC that" in the previews and interviews. I realize now it was the cry of a guilty soul. Reminds me of Gearbox and Borderlands, look how that turned out.
Also! Would be nice to be able to carry your character from your first play through over and play through with him and all of the items you had again. Little things like that change playability imo.

To anyone who cares, you can feel free to ask your questions to CD Projekt here, they are answering reasonably asked questions.

I completely agree with fixing the inventory system and identifying crafting recipes that you already own, etc. Another thing that bugs me is that when I browse a shop inventory for recipes, I have to wait for the info window to s-l-o-w-l-y scroll down to required components. This is really annoying when I want to check the components of several items, surely there's a better way to display the information than a tiny box that can show 1/3 of the text at a time.

Also, change the way +vitality runes work on weapons. Currently, you only gain the vitality when you draw the sword, and lose it when you sheathe it, but it only raises your maximum health and you have to regenerate to full. Either change it so that you always gain the +vitality when you have the sword equipped in the sword slot, sheathed or drawn, or make it raise both maximum and current health. I'd prefer the former.

get the damn block off the vigour system. give us a dedicated group style, alow for changing enemies better allowing us to keep useing our chain to deal best damage, light enimes can only be hit by light attack and light attack deal minimal damage to heavy enemies. and change the UI sytem, and maybe give us a storage box. .. alow us to learn formulae, dont give us all the formulae at the start ... or rather the amount they do give us

theres more and i know it sounds like alot but its not that much if you think about it. i still like the core game-play itself and the core fighting system

copied from another thread but SCREW YOU ALL. i felt this best portrays what i think atm
Some quest flagged items cannot be sold or dropped after the associated quest is finished. When that item is a 15-20 (I forget what exactly) weight armor then that is a bit annoying
If it hasn't or has been said, it needs to be said or said again: Newgame+ !!!

The game autosaved in the end so I got my hopes up in vain. =(

I got a feeling we will see an expansion. Don't know why, but I just go the feeling. Anyway the game would really work well with "newgame+"
People!!!
If you still don't understand THERE IS NO JUNK!!!
LOL, can't believe noone has yet noticed. EVERY item in the game (well, maybe exept for food) can be used for crafting/enchanting/alchemy. 3 lathers and oil make hardened leather, Twines and 4 cloth+diamond dust make robust cloth!
There are no unusable items whatsoever, it's just that not all diagrams you will be able to buy/find.
Also... I was complaining about slow upgrading, but it seems people actually tend to get XP a lot faster than me... How? How do you upgrade so fast that you unlock freaking Riposite 'n' shit before even Kayran?!?!
