This is my second playthrough, and I'm irked that my "new game" Geralt is carrying the encrypted manuscript on his belt from the very beginning of the game (I didn't manage to pick up all of the ingredients, so never got the Caeme sword in my first play).

Now I'm worried whether I'll get the Caeme quest at all ... plus I'm just annoyed seeing that book when Geralt shouldn't have it at this point in the game. :P. Anyone know why this is happening? Is it a bug? Is there any way to drop the bloody thing and get it later in the game when I'm supposed to?
