I pre-ordered and bought Witcher 2 on launch day but I haven't had the chance to install and play until today.

After installing I tried to get updated and DLC through the launcher option "Downloadable Content", however it asks for a "Preorder Code Redemption" and won't allow (or even show) any downloads.

I've already used the "patcher" from the game dir and the game seems up-to-date, but how about the DLC?
All available DLC was included in patches from 1.1 or 1.2 up, so if your game is fully patched you should have all the DLC.
Ok, thanks!
Happy gaming ;)
I have the game entirely patched and my DLC is not available. In game I am told I need to register. Registering did nothing. Still no DLC.

Wich DLC is telling you to register ? Is it the troll quest DLC you pick up on the notice board ?

I ended up figuring it out a couple days ago, but I needed to get rid of every scrap of it on my PC's registry and reinstall. This was strange because I patched it all the way to the current version and still had the 1.11 DLC registration quest on the notice board.

The troll dlc can be a bit dfificult to update properly through patches, sometimes the overwrite of the old file doesn't go all that well, but deleting the troll.dzip file from the cooked pc folder and dropping a 'good' troll.dzip in it usually takes care of the issues.
