I've encountered a rather annoying bug where in chapter 2(Roche's path), you can buy a diagram from the weapons vendor in the army camp -- the Robust Kaedini(SP?) Sword. It's a good upgrade steel sword, but when you try to make it then equip it, it becomes a Steel Short Sword. :( Anyone else ran into this?

Yup, I did too. Quite annoying, but in my playthrough it was the only instance of pattern/outcome mismatching I ran into.

Same problem, i am wondering if there is a mod or a trainer to get my steel ore back? Will be quite annnoying to get it all again.

Seriously, so frustrating, I crafted it several times before giving up. The best sword schematic I've been able to find yet and cant use it.

Agreed :( consolation is that you can buy the regular Kaedini sword from the same vendor and it's the best up until that point in the game. Also, my char is pretty buffed now that he's been tearing through everything, so no biggie even with this stupid ass bug.
