I miss the good old games in the first Witcher where you could bet hundreds of orens over and over compared to just 10 now :( Yes I know this would allow people to farm orens very fast via the reloading after each loss but it still takes a while depending on your luck. I farmed for the 5000 oren jacket in the first Witcher for hours and that was me reloading after each loss. And come on we need a ton of orens for supplies, weapons, armor, rune stones, armor enhancements, and most importantly... PLOUGIN' WHORES!!!
I"m not sure I agree. The economy seems better balanced in this game. I get less money from dicing and fighting, but I also need much less money. No more 700 orens for a book on how to pick flowers.

Well I finished TW2 on normal once and I had over 7k orens in the end. I almost didn't spend any, it just wasn't necessary.

The only thing I want fixed about poker is an ability to click one button to do a max bet, an explanation of what hand is what, and a fixed camera angle that isn't so shallow.
camera angle sucks, yes

If you are using a controller the right trigger does a max bet.

As of 1.1 for me at least the right trigger isn't doing max bets anymore

Arm wrestling the merc in chapter 2 is 200 orens per win.
And arm wrestling is skill based, not luck based so it is super easy to win.
I farmed about 3k gold that way.

It does indeed. It would be far better if was top down, then you could see the opponents dice much more easily.

Indeed. But especially with the beginning of the last third, i wished for more options to spend my money usefully.
Ok I'm sorry about this post. Seems the new easy way to farm orens is arm wrestling, with rocks because it's super easy! Guy in chapter 1 gives 30 per win and they only take a few seconds per match. Commence rakin' in the ploughin' orens!
Wanna make money? Just sell harpy feet in chapter II.
