Knew that already, but it does not support Vista 64, I have to wait until they release 11.6 offical which is mid-June (all this info is in that Twitter Site).
You sure the windows 7 doesnt work on vista? Aren't the full drivers for both 64bit vista and 7.

I of course tried, multiple times to get the 11.5b hotfix to install on my machine, no luck. It will install but if you look closely it will NOT install the drivers, just all the other crap in the package that are options. I have posted this on a separate thread already with all the long explanations.
i read this to get an idea whats been fixed or not >

11.5b hotfix addressed CrossFire scaling but brought on terrible lighting issues.

11.5 CAP3 doesn't address lighting issues.

According to teh release notes, it does not address TW2 period.
I am running an HD5770 but get tired of the sometimes jitters and frame rate slow down. Not enough to really hurt the game all that much, but annoying. I ordered an Nvidia 560ti today and will give that a try. I think the absence of PhysX in ati may be a factor, but not sure.

I am not having these issues with my 5770. Of course, I have a competent CPU to match it.

I think my i7 960 is pretty competent. As I said, I am not having the kind of issues that alot of others are having by a long shot and the game is playing okay ( a heck of a lot better than Fallout : New Vegas ). The issues I have noticed are relatively minor. I didn't OC it all that much, 850 on the GPU and 1200 on the memory. You are right about the CPU though. You can put a huge Video Card in there, but if you don't have a decent CPU to go with it, you are still going to strangle things and it will show in the performance.

> Enables AMD CrossFire scaling for The Witcher 2
new CAP will be released this week but i don't think it will fix the lights problem just yet.

It's supposed to enable crossfire for Shift 2...

"CatalystCreator Andrew D
Shift 2 CF support will be added back with this weeks CAP update. Witcher 2: investigation is still ongoing.

Do any of these fixes affect non-CF setups (ie the "CAP"s)? I only have a single 6950 (unlocked shaders)

And the driver keeps crashing/restarting, causing annoying blackouts during play.

Dont use CAPs with single cards.
Use the 11.5b drivers only.
