Noticed these on a recent playthrough:

The sorcerer Dethmold has three potion bottles on his belt: two blue and one red. Red (health pts) and blue (mana pts) potion bottles have been standard in video/computer games for decades. Makes sense Dethmold would have two blue ones :-)

In the Kaedweni camp, when Geralt passes by groups of soldiers, they sometimes comment about him and a "super soldier serum". A reference to Marvel Comics iconic character Captain America.

Or a reference to the first game in which Salamandra create super soldiers from the Witcher's secrets.

Hated those damn Greater Brothers.
Heh, Dethmold's rounded potion bottles carried around his waste, coupled with his cock-adorned staff, make me think they added these items for giggles, for a completely different reason. ;)

Well, the Cock may be apt, didn't think of that. Not sure about the potion bottles.

'From his belt dangled shiny balls in red and blue...'

It might just be me, though. I love Dethmold as a character; he's one of the best onesin the game. I do wish they could have made him a bit nuanced, however, and less of a raving, 'obvious' villain. His speech during the beginning of Prelude to War: Kaedwen was a bit too much for my taste. I wanted to be able to kind of befriend him a bit more - a part of me reads Dethmold as having a bit of a crush on Geralt - even if he eventually makes you his enemy, of course. But yeah, I love his voice (especially in English), and his mannerisms. Amusing and unsettling at the same time.

Cock-staff has a reason. It's a weather cock, or the anemoscope, it is supposed to give you a hint of Air Magic Mastery kind of stuff.

Sorta odd, because Dethmold himself is too stubby to be associated with Air... FLATULENCE mage? D:

Yes, +1 for Geralt/Dethmold. Would you shake my hand? Would you like to have a cup of tea?
