When I checked into my GOG.com account, I noticed that three of my games that I've already downloaded were updated. One of them was Witcher. When I opened it up to see what was updated, nothing was marked on the long list of potential downloadables.

Does anyone know what the last change or set of changes were to the files were? I can't figure it out, and any help on this matter would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thank you in advance!
Kyle

Ah, that might be it. It's been several months since I last signed in. Does that sound right to you, or...?

That's pretty nice of them, and another smart marketing ploy. These guys KNOW what they're doing. Again, thank you for your help on this!

When in doubt, you can also check gogwiki to see what's been recently updated.

No mention of the Witcher there.

The calendar is new, but the game files are different too. Each file is smaller, about 1.5gb instead of 2gb. No idea if that's the only change though, or if there is something genuinely new. Can anybody elaborate?
May have been changed some because of the MAC update . The MAC is version 1.0.0 where the witcher is 2.0.0 and there are 7 files now instead of 6 .
May be right about that. The size is roughly the same though. Although there are more files now, each file is smaller, so it looks to be the same.
All version 1.x.x.x installers had a split size of ~2GB, while the newer ones (2.x.x.x) have a split size of ~1.5GB, thus enabling better DVD archiving (less wasted space). As for the GOGWiki page, while it was updated, noone seems to be updating it atm, but feel free to do so yourselves :)
