Always thought the title "The Witcher" seems a bit bare now, with "The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings" and "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" having nice descriptive subtitles following their names.

So, what subtitle would you give The Witcher 1? "The Witcher: Salamandra"? That sort of thing.

If CDPR release a big lovely trilogy bundle after the Wild Hunt expansions, it would be cool if they gave The Witcher 1 a subtitle like that.

Wasn't it a canceled console game/version? I think so at least.
And for the subtitle for the game... I know it's cliche, but "Return of the White Wolf" is in my books - because it's mostly him returning, and getting back into things.

I like Rise of the White Wolf as well.
It makes sense, because he "rose" from the dead.
Its a good title for a first game, anyway.

Bear in mind that "Rise of the White Wolf" was also supposed to be the subtitle of the remake of the first game on consoles using the Witcher 2 engine.

It would make sense since all the main focus of the game is about the war between the Scoia'tael and the Order of the Flaming Rose and its future consequences.

The Witcher: Blood of Roses

I would love to see a Witcher Trilogy released AFTER Cyber Punk 2077 with TW1 and TW2 brought to Red Engine 3. Further more, I'd like to see them merged into 1 game where you can play the stories out in sequence in an open world like one big adventure. Do something like once 1 story is over you have to complete 'X' number of side quest to advance to the next chapter to give a sense of time passing. Or use some nice cinematic transistion to portray the passing of time.
