Hi everyone! So, I'm throughly enjoying this game, trying to complete most of it. I'm still on chapter 1 though. I did however run into what I believe is a bug. When you help the dwarf and get the sets of dice from the bandit's bodies, I actually picked up three... Do I need all three or is there a way I can get rid of two of those sets? Since it is considered a quest item I can't drop it. I know is nothing game breaking, is just annoying ^^ Unless I do actually need al three and I'm just beeing silly :P

Thanks in advance :)

Nope, you need just one set, the others are just clutter ;)

You can't drop the extra sets, you're stuck with them during Chapter 1. At the beginning of Chapter 2 the extra sets will be removed from your inventory but early on in Chapter 2, depending on what you do, you can end up with an extra set again.

This can happen with a couple of other quest items so best thing to do is to ignore duplicate quest items in your inventory, the duplicates don't get in the way of completing the quests that relate to those items or anything.
Cool. Thanks for explaining that to me.
No problem ;)
You could simply not pick up the extra sets of dice. I know it's too late now, but remember that in the future.
Awww, man... I ended up with two sets again xD How was I supposed to know that the only character in the cell with a name different than "Prisioner" was going to give another set without even asking me? xD And to make things worse, I thought I could go back to the outskirt later (I know, I'm an idiot) so I picked two quest items from the chest (the human head and the crypt key...). Well, guess I'll just be the weird guy that carries as skull with a key in it's eye socket just for the sake of it o.o
Yeah, that's what i hinted at, i wasn't more specific because i didn't want togo into spoilers ;)

Good news is, the quest items inventory will be cleaned up again on CH3.

Thank god... xD I'm used to the old Infinity Engine games where as you progress in chapters you can still go back... you know, a world map. I keep forgetting The Witcher was made on Aurora and so it's "modular" in it's progression.
