Well...

been through the witcher before. Whole game, earlier version (no save games from that).
Now, just to kind of "get into the mood" for the witcher 2, I started once again with the enhanced version.
Still great, but:
before I made it through the tunnel, collapsed every possible beam, killed the Queen - but now I can't seem to get this done again (Queen is smashed under a ton of rubble, only to experience death myself, each time I try (ten times so far).

So, PLEASE, if anybody out there could help me out with a suitable save game (just after successfully killing this vermin Queen)...?!

Thank you for reading!

It depends what you want. I have a savegame that is neutral (but tending towards Scoia'tael, since you're forced to choose a side during the bank heist). It's also heavily focused on sword-fighting instead of signs. Let me know if you're interested.
hey ,

there's 2 things you can do.

1) i can give you a savegame from the start of that chapter right after killing the professor.

2) if you're still in the start do as follows.
Run towards the first set of beams.
Use aard and run like hell. i didn't bother with all the others.
Forget about the second barrier and run to the main hall.
Use your aard there a few times and run towards the blocked entrance.

i didn't kill a single kikimore by hand and got about 10 seconds to spare before she was crushed.

... :) just like I said in my initial post: the first time around with an earlier version this part of the episode had been solved, exactly the way that you've mentioned.
Only with the enhanced edition I keep dying after the queen got smashed (last part of the tunnel).
Thank you just the same, nice to find help if you are really stuck!

Barry -
I played the Scoia'tael, I played the order - it is the third time that I play the witcher, so I am very much interested in your kind offer!
Thanks a ton!!

No problem. I'm uploading the attachment now. It's from the immediate beginning of Chapter 4.
Has anyone figured out an actual workaround to this incredibly annoying bug? I've tried most everything and die every time as the ceiling comes down on that bug even though I am safe and sound outside in the hallway.

Have you checked your toxicity level, as per the last post in this thread

Thank you for the response -- I did finally make it through, no idea really why though. The last time I tried knocking out the supports while still in that last room and then running through, also making sure I never looked back at the ceiling coming down on the queen. Not sure if that is why the game didn't trigger a death scene, but it worked, and I'm on. Strange.
