I have a system that just about meets the minimum system requirements for the game...

P4 2.8 ghz
1 gb ram

...except for the video card. I have a Geforce FX5700 Ultra 128 mb.
I know it's a really old card. Anyone know if the game will run with this card?
What can I expect the game to look like graphics-wise? What kind of frame rate
will I get?

It sounds like a cool game but i'm stuck with this comp for the foreseeable future.
Would it be worth picking up or should I give it a pass?

I'm not sure how well it will run, but I do know that you will need to bypass the minimum system requirements check in order to run the game at all if you are using that card. There are instructions on how to do that in the "Fixes To Common Problems" sticky thread.

Anyone else have a sense of how the game will run with that card?

I am not sure it will run satisfactorily. The FX5's had good performance for their day, but they were not DirectX 9.0c compatible and are known for being troublesome with 9.0c games.

If you can see your way clear to picking up a surplus 6-series or 7-series AGP card, you'd be able to play the game for sure. But a 5-series card would probably be nothing but trouble.

Ok, thanks for the info guys. I think i'll just pass on it for now. Maybe I can pick up a cheap card later.
