Hey everybody,

I'm trying to get as much "Witcher"ing in before Assassins of Kings comes out, but since I purchased a retail copy of the game I can't install the EE patch.

The reason for this is it appears that the registration/login servers needed to take care of this are down? Does anyone know how I can get around this...preferably without resorting to sites of ill-repute?

Its not a matter of finding the patches...I've got everything downloaded and ready to go, the issue is when I try to install the EE patch it errors out saying that I need to register the game.

When I try to register the program says it cannot establish a connection to the server.

The servers are down, probably until Monday.

Oh right, I didn't know you had to register to install the patches. Well you could just buy the GOG version for convenience, it's less than the price of a pint of beer. Or just wait until the servers come back up, maybe tomorrow. Depends how much you want to complete it before TW2 comes out.

I took your advice, I prefer a digital copy over retail any day. Plus I got $5 off TW2 when I did the pre-order thing, so I basically got both for the regular retail price of TW2.
