I guess I am bored :) For those who wish to see the original Polish title "Wiedźmin" instead of "The Witcher" (below the wolf's head when the game cycle through developer/publisher/title screens) can download it here:

Great! Thanks -I'm from Poland and I will use it :D
Thanks, i'll use that!:)

And btw, Simplex, remember that boss fight You've mentioned in the OTS camera zoom out question thread? It died from one blow, in fact, all the bosses in Act 1 did. I like the consistency in the idea of stunning. ;)

Try doing the same using Flash Mod, good luck ;) I died about 20 times in that fight until on 21st time I miraculously managed to stun the boss, and kill with one hit.

On normal, without flash mod or full combat rebalance mod, stunning is totaly overpowered.

I did use the Flash Mod, but without the difficulty tweaks. The game's UI complicates things enough for me.;)
Overpowered? Well, by modern standards, i guess so, i think it's a nice deviation from the standard arpgs, where You normally wouldn't stun a boss. Anyhoo, I'm not modding the combat, unless the mods fix some of the issues the original combat has. ;)
Here's what I meant about the boss. This was exactly me experience with this boss on normal with Flash mod:

And that's why stunning the bosses is a thing that i believe, saves this game for me. ;)
I'll stay away from the difficulty modifications.
Especially that stunning isn't always as beautiful as it sounds. When fighting the Crypt King i was able to stun him, and after clicking him, i saw Geralt start to walk in his direction, and then just walk in one place, as in an invisible wall was blocking him, the creature got up, and bashed me with a single blow. Sometimes, when i stun an enemy and click him, Geralt takes his time, walks so slowly forwards the creature, that it gets up before receiving a blow. Sooo, stunning's both a bless and a bitch.

About disappearing potion effects, i took a Kot and a Jaskolka before entering the cave where Declan sent me. Quicksaved, entered, got owned on my first fight, reloaded, potion effects gone.

I wonder if CDPR will take an example from Arkane and release some patches to this game.
Filesonic died, here is reuploaded Polish title screen: http://www.sendspace.com/file/urq4cl
