I have been searching for Odo for two hours. He is not home any time of day.

Which is making me wonder: Can NPCs like Odo be permanently killed by monsters ?
The glowing green dogs wiped out alot of people so far in the village and fort.

OhNoMoreLemmings: Can NPCs like Odo be permanently killed by monsters ?
No, but Odo is known to have issues with some mods that make him go invisible. Do you have any mods?
Yes, one mod to play plants spawn faster.

How do I disable mods?
I manually installed them a few months ago, then forgot about TW then I had to wipe my primary HDD.

The mod will either be in its own folder, in the <install path>\data\ folder, or if it's an override will be in the override folder.
I uninstalled all mods, went back to Odo's house. He's not there, mediatated for 12 hours and returned to his house at 11pm. He's still not home.

Go into Odo's house and press the key that shows interactable items. Does it show an "invisible" Odo or his name?
I deleted Odo's files. He was visible this one.

Now, Haren is invisible. He is standing by the table in the middle of the room but I cannot interact with him.

I have gone into a cave and something is attacking me. I cannot see it. Are there invisible monsters? If so, how do I deal with them?

No, aren't invisible monsters, use cat potion to see in the dark, I think those are the plants who attacking you in the cave, if you are outside of vizima.

You were right, it was the plant.

However, I know there is something in the Cemetary, in the crypt, and in the sewers that is magical and overwhelming me. It is everything I can do to get away. It's like I am in a trance and cannot move. I have played long enough that it seems I should have found something for me to at least identify the source of the "Magic?"

So far, I am not finding books on magic. I keep looking for more books; because, I know there is a long way for me to go in this game.

Anyway, I would appreciate having someone to chat with on this subject. I have become hooked on it. At this time, I am close to wiping out Salamandra, in the swamps. The bank job was hard for me; I had to try six times before I made it.

Thanks Pigulici

I did use cat. None-the-less, when I get around certain areas, I am overwhelmed and seem to go into trance. Miraculously, I got away but it took about 4 minutes to move.

I know something is in the crypt and sewers that is binding my character. That is why I think there is a magical creature (invisible) casting something onto me and putting me out of commission.

Hmm, not sure if this is it, but maybe the peaks/arrows that the plant will throw at you from distance, it is poisoning you before you get to hit the plant, I had this in Ch1, but I level up my character(and put more points in defence 'skills') and this become less a problem in next chapters, for me.

Try "De Vries's Extract - Make hidden oponents visible"

Also I too am reading all the books. There is a bookseller in both trade quarter and temple quarter and I've spent the vast majority of my money reading all of their books. But the contracts pay for themselves pratically.

It turns out that the problem is actually a bug in the software. I noticed the same problem throughout the rest of the game. It may have been because of a conflict; but, I do not know. I finally finished the game and I loved it.
