hi there like the title says im having a weird glitch/bug where i cant read text that well ive tried changing graphics settings lowering/raising the resolution and also running the verify/repair but it does nothing to the settings

the game runs fine other than the problem mentioned im getting 290 fps on max graphics settings so im at a loss as to why im getting this problem

it looks the same when i meditate there is text over text and thus making it unreadable

i have included a screenshot to hopefully show the problem

What mods did you install? Your screenshot looks like a broken installation of the Rise of the White Wolf mod, or a related mod conflict.

If it's your first time playing The Witcher, texture overhaul mods like Rise of the White Wolf aren't essential, in my opinion.

You could try removing the Data/Override folder, verifying the game files again, and then reinstalling mods one at a time to see which one breaks the settings screen.
i had this problem before instsalling any mods, i installed them hoping theyd fix it but they never sadly. i removed the game compleetly and re installing, spoke to gog cust service and they gave lots of ideas but didnt work
set fps to 60 res to 1920 by 1080 instead of the 2560 compatibilty mode windowed mode the only thing i can think of is it has to be the graphics card. if anyone is using a 5700xt and it runs fine please let me know so i can rule that out

Just a random idea, but you could switch the game language to see if makes any difference. Or try installing one of the language packs from en.cdprojektred.com/download/language-packs/.

I did. Received a lot of suggestions (attached) which unfortunately did not help.

Yep, expected as much. Maybe you will have better luck with CDPR support, but I have no experience with them.

It still is a new card, and a pretty old game (gah... I'm calling a post 2000 game old, what happened to the years?) so give it some time.

I have some problem with RX5700 (((
high rated
Want to share temporary workaround which helped me to fix texts.

1. Navigate fdossena.com/?p=wined3d/index.frag
2. Download Vulkan latest version
3. Copy d3d9.dll and wined3d.dll in the game's executable directory (.\The Witcher Enhanced Edition\System)
4. Play

Hope this helps!

Thank you! Weird that if I use razers fps counter, fps drops to 7-20, but without it the game seems to be working flawlessly so far. I don't know the precise fps tho, but I see no any problem.
