I just got back into The Witcher recently and was playing when my HDD decided to crash and force me to lose all of my save data.
I was about halfway through the second chapter just started "A Mysterious Tower" and was looking if someone had a save game they could send that was at that same quest or a little before is fine.

Aw, geeze, I HATE hard disk crashes. Sorry to hear that happened.

Chapter 2 is very complicated, and it might work out better if you started from the beginning of Chapter 2, rather than partway through. Since I think Chapter 2 really starts when Geralt is thrown in jail, rather than at the official start of Chapter 2, I have a saved game from the end of Chapter 1 here. In this save, the Beast has been killed, and Geralt has done everything necessary in Chapter 1; all that remains is for him to walk up the hill to where Mikul is and ask to get into Vizima. That conversation starts the "throw Geralt into jail" cutscene that will end with your starting Chapter 2.

Alright Thanks! I guess I'll just start from the beginning, to bad I don't get any of my skills or anything back but oh well.

You can use the Saved Game Editor to give yourself the skills you remember having. And if you'd like to change the difficulty level, you can use Flash's Difficulty Potions Mod to change it.
