It’s… OK

Played about 58h+
7/10

The quest structure was fairly… ok.
The witcher was, like a detective… ish : )) and the combat style I actually liked because was kinda’ similar to the Jedi Outcast saber stances… even if you just clicked.
You can change the gameplay to isometric, Diablo like style if you like that better, but for me 3rd person was rly good;
The sexy… card collecting was funny , the world was cool, the green ladies were… :)
Alvin was annoying as hell ..rly disliked that moron child : ))

At the Shani, quest… in the house, get the granny diary and lard beforehand; its gonna’ be better.

After I played The Witcher story, the New adventures were kinda’ tutorial?… hit and miss one’s … adventures.. I guess.. I liked only one, that was like a prequel and voiceacted.
At the end of the game I had like 10k orens, could had given Dandelion dunderhead 3k orens or whatever he needed, easy, but nothing carried over, to this new... adventure, what a letdown (62h total )

Some minor bugs and crashes did happened… but the autosave was fairly good.

So... It is fairly ok, but I was playing in tandem, and finished before this, Dragon Age Origins and Inquisition, which I rly enjoyed and liked much more… than this.

So… get this title for free… or If you can and want to support the devs. : ) o7

Anyway, thank you GOG and projekt Red : )

There two of the "New adventures" with professional quality, including voice acting (they are sometimes called "premium modules"): Side Effects (which, by your description, you have already played) and The Price of Neutrality. If you haven't played the latter, don't hesitate to give it a try, it was my favourite of the two. The Price of Neutrality has a developed storyline with difficult choices and some parts posed a good challenge.
Ya... after I finished the main story, I tried the new adventures... and by that time, the game began to really annoy me :))
I liked only one, voiceacted, yes.. but... is rly cool that you have an adventure editor, was it ? That's rly nice :)

Next to play is Venetica (finished already) will try to write a review, if cannot again will be in the forum :))
Is gog's review posting.. broken now ? :(
