Hey fellow gog users, I have a small favor to ask of anyone who’s played the game and still has their save files. My old computer crashed and I lost the game midway. If anyone has a save file (novice or intermediate preferably) at around the end of chapter 2/beginning of chapter 3 it would really be helpful. I have the second game and I plan to buy the third but I still really think I should finish the first before playing its sequels. Thank you so much in advance.

I also agree you should finish the first game. I'm not sure I have my mid-game save anymore, but I've seen others in this forum donate save files so hopefully someone will have one. What choices did you make so far? Hopefully someone can get you one that's more of less the same as the one you lost.

Thanks for the reply. Hopefully someone will show up here with a save, but if not I could probably try some other websites. Last time I actually played the game was already a couple of years ago so I can't remember every choice, but I remember picking mostly good guy and neutral options. I remember saving the witch, I didn't join the order or the elven faction and typically I chose to do quests alone, rather than teaming up. Honestly I would play any version of Geralt even if my preference is for consistency. From what I've read, there are still a lot of decisions left to be made so I would definitely still play through to see what comes next..
