Every time I enter/exit a building/gate something in the PC beeps. It just recently started doing this; I got through all of the Prologue, Ch.1, and part of Ch.2 before it started.

I'll click to enter a door and the load screen will come up, then the monitor goes black (almost like a flicker) for a split second (that's when it beeps). Then it finishes loading (2 seconds) and all is well.

I think the beep is coming from the GPU (or around there, do GPUs beep?). It's a single, short, soft beep. At first I thought maybe it was an audio glitch coming from the speaker, it's not loud at all.

I have all the video settings maxed out and it runs great. (GTX 750ti). I ran HW Monitor alongside GPUz and all the temps/utilization looked fine. Though the GPU utilization takes a dive every now and again, which maybe coincides with when the screen flickers. I don't think the PSU would be an issue because it's a 550w.

Any help would greatly appreciated. I know beeps are usually a bad sign.

Well, upon further inspection, it appears to be coil whine.

I ran Unigen's Superposition Benchmark and sure enough, there it was. Oddly enough though, it wasn't quite as high-pitched.

Oh well.
