As the title says. Is the version offered here the fully uncensored version? I did some rudimentary searching but couldn't find a concrete answer.

Yes it is. But I suppose the definitive answer is that GOG abides by local laws, so as to say, for example, if a country has laws that say a game must be censored, people in that country will get the censored version. Otherwise, it is totally uncensored.

So in other words, we in the U.S. get the censored version... dammit. I paid for the uncensored version years ago and got it without aa problem.

GOG's Witcher is the Enhanced Director's Cut edition, which is uncensored period.

What? Games in the US get censored? That's the first time I've heard about this. Could you provide some details?

Why did Witcher 1 get censored in the US for static nude drawings, but Witcher 3 didn't despite having more real sex scenes? As always, there's no logic in censorship... Anyway I'm surprised the censorship took place there. The situation was opposite for Fallout 2. The US version was uncensored and the EU one had some cut content.

I'm not surprised at all. The US is, culturally, much more prudish than most other western countries. But yeah, where's the continuity of logic?
Maybe by the time The Witcher 3 came out, the franchise was enough well-known, or the game was really anticipated, so that they could get away with it.

Not that the nudity in The Witcher 1 is *that* scandalous...

It is not scandalous at all. The naked body is not a scandal. There is nothing more natural.
