So, when i talk to Sighfried and agree to take his knights with me quest is failed straight away? What i'm missing?

EDIT: So, it seems i did stuff in wrong order. Kind of strange still.

A weird interaction indeed. According to the wiki it is known that Force Recon can make Yeavin's letter's quest fail, but not the other way around. Was that the stuff you did in the "wrong" order?

At least Force Recon is optional and doesn't have long-term consequences.
