Hi. I just registered my what-ever edition (with lots of bonus-dvds and books) I bought 4 years ago to gog.com (which is an awesome option to have! Yay!).

I am probably not going to redownload the dircetors cut for my nearly finished playthrough, so keep in mind I still have the DVD-Version installed, not the gog-version. I have not heard of any differents regarding saves though.

I was wondering if there is a more convient way to handle save files? TW1 makes a new save file everytime I hit the quicksave button, cluttering my OS-Drive with 3gb of savefiles which I have to delete manually in a regular basis.

Is there an automatic way to outsource the savefiles to somewhere else (that is, change the directory for savefiles) or make TW override quicksave-files?
May be an obvious suggestion, but have you considered a junction or a symbolic link to where you would rather store them? That and/or you might try NTFS compression on the save folder.
