Hi everyone,

I wanted to had in the "Six Feet Under" - Quest to Siegfried. However, for some reason the according dialogue won´t be triggered. I have read something about a conflict between this quest and the "Echoes of the Past" - Quest, however I strongly assumed that this bug was fixed in the Enhanced Edition. Is there some workaround maybe?

It's not considered a bug; it's part of how they're telling you the story. Geralt is forced to choose sides in the conflict between the Scoia'tael and the Order, and he can't serve both sides after the bank job. BEFORE the bank job -- where things come to a head -- Geralt can complete both quests if he does so in the right order.

See "Trigger Conditions and Related Quests" in the Witcher Wiki's write up of the Gold Rush quest for more details: http://witcher.wikia.com/wiki/Gold_Rush
Thank you very much for this clarification.

However, if it wasn´t a bug, shouldn´t it display as "Quest failed"? In fact, the quest description - reporting to Siegfried etc. - is still written in my questbook as "open quest".

And regarding to the content: this basic conflict that you describe makes sense. However, I can´t see how the fact that I saved the civilians in the cemetary is somehow related to this main conflict. During the Gold rush I even sided with Siegfried - so I just can´t see a possible explanation why he doesn´t let me tell him that I saved the civilians.

Yes, if you side with Siegfried during Gold Rush, then you're right that not being able to complete this quest doesn't make sense.

I've never sided with Siegfried during Gold Rush -- he's too bloodthirsty for me -- so I forget that this outcome is possible. ;)
