I specifically would like to try to avoid missing any potions or mutagens but do not want to risk being spoiled. Or really at least get a heads up to quests that are easily missable.

Love going through games blind but do appreciate a bit of assistance when it comes to stuff I could miss out on that would be potentially highly useful to me throughout the game.

Anyways, any assistance here would be appreciated.

The Witcher is divided in several chapters and locations. So you can just play and find your way and once you've advanced enough in on area, go to the walkthrough on gamebanshee.com and read what you might have missed. On the other hand, this always spoils the feeling for the game a bit. As the Witcher wants you to make choices resulting in different effects, you'll never get everything in one playthrough, anyway. I like to get it all myself as well, but this game is very story driven and my advise is to let it go and just play, be the Witcher, make your choices and when you miss a little something who cares, as long as your experience wasn't spoiled. There isn't something game breaking useful anyway that couldn't be substituted by something else, imo.
