The game loads fine, video and sound are smooth.
It's just that arbitrary some objects are invisible!
So far the bear's head on the rug in Sadwick's trailer, the turtle statues at the ruins (they became invisible only at inventory) and Ben's casket (also invisible in inventory).
Tried reinstalling the game - didn't work.
Anyone came across this problem?

Confirmed on the bear's head and the casket, didn't get to the ruins yet.
Vista 32 bit, nVidia 9600gt, standard settings.

I contacted support for the same problem.
Here is their answer, it worked for me.

Please go to Control Panel, select View by: Large icons, choose Region and Language. Go to Administrative tab, click Change system locale... select English (United States) and restart the computer.

Hello

Please try this solution.
Open Control Panel, select "View by: Large icons", choose "Region and Language". Go to "Administrative" tab, click "Change system locale..." select "English (United States)", apply the changes and restart the computer.
All the items should be visible now.

Hi Genoan,

Is there any word from the developers on this issue? Are they going to patch it or something? The fix works, but messing with the OS settings is not a very healthy thing.
There is an option to solve this without changing the whol system setting:

search "change system locale for single program" at google.
