It's been a surprising mix of news from this whole situation. TellTale suddenly slamming it's doors shut, giving their employees basically only a half-hour to grab their stuff and get out. This with so many brand-new employees coming in just to find out they have no job. No notice, no severance.

Then several other companies lighting up across the industry saying "Hey, we've got openings, come right in, we'll slap together an interview on short notice. We'll even pay for dinner." Then some potential backers stepping up to open the possibility of at least finishing WD, then folks saying "maybe cover severance pay for all the folks who lost their work first, before the game." Not sure if that'll fly, but nobody's saying 'no' yet.

Definitely an event to remember, however it turns out.
Sad to see the company fold.

But laughing my arse off at the same time because of those fools that preordered the game, bought season pass, paid to beta test etc.

Maybe learn some restraint and only pay up when there is a complete product for sale.

can you write that off of your taxes as a business expense? bad debt?
Now they have removed the whole Walking Dead series from their catalogue. Sadly GOG did this without any announcement prior to this as they did with past titles that got removed.

Hmm, I got an email a few days ago - saying they were being removed.
