Hello I haven't played these games in a while and the last time I played them was in 2022 I booted up my games and noticed that my save files weren't loading but I brushed it off and started the first episode of season 3 after season 3 episode 1 was done I tried to click on the next episode and It said that I had no save data for episode 1 I got annoyed with this and use the knowledge that I acquired in college for computer engineering to try to figure out this issue I looked on a line but kept getting brought back to threads in 2012 for the original game about the save files not working but those were not helpful for the definitive edition while looking through this though I found all of my original save files from the last time I played the game and have my complete save files for season 1 and 2 found and the save file that was made after I finished the first episode of season 3 back in 2022 but for some reason they are not loading does anyone have any feedback or help that would allow me to be able to load the save files so that I may be able to continue on my gameplay with my previous choices


Definitive Edition Save files not loading I have found my old save files but for some reason none of them are loading from Definitive Edition season 1, 2 or 3 saves


And in case you were wondering all of these save files are definitive edition save files and we're not transferred from any other source

"The Walking Dead Definitive" is not a GoG version save folder. The GoG version has a "The Walking Dead The Telltale Definitive Series" folder created for saving. Try renaming.
