Hello everyone,

I have just finished the main game. I also own the DLC, but I can't seem to find a way to access it... The top left of the main menu reads "The Village" but there is no way to start the DLC from the main menu itself or from the hub.

Thanks in advance!
Hey, I know this is topic is over a year old now, but did you (or anyone else) find a way to access the DLC?

I've tried uninstalling, deleting local save data, installing without Gog Galaxy but I never get the option for Village in the Main Menu.

I've read that you have to restart the main game and fight the tutorial boss, then quit to main menu for the option to finally appear, but that didn't work for me either

I have not, sorry :( Just leaving this message here in case someone has a solution and feels like posting it here.

Just sent a ticket regarding the problem. I'll post here once I receive useful info from them.

And thank you for leaving a review and the op for creating the topic pointing out the broken DLC entrance. I have mentioned both in my request.

I hope they will get to it and the issue will be resolved soon.
Three years later and there still remains the same problem.
The DLC shows on the top left corner on the main screen, so the game recognises, that I bought the DLC, but there is no option to access it.

As seen in a video, there should be "Village" as a choice right from the start.

Continue
Village <--------| But this option just is not there.

Here is an (unsatisfying) update from GOG support:

Hello Marc

I am afraid that this is a known issue and the appropriate team are currently investigating it.

Should you prefer not to wait for a resolution here, for your The Textorcist: Amen Edition I could transfer the game back into GOG Wallet funds, store credit.

Sadly I currently do not have an ETA for a solution. But perhaps you might be still able to enjoy the current state of the game until then?

All the best,

Falran

I would therefor suggest not to buy the DLC (or the Amen edition) until the issue is resolved.

Thanks for letting us know. This is honestly absurd. Of course I don't expect GOG itself to fix this but they should force the devs to do something or take down the DLC.

I wholeheartedly agree. You first reported these difficulties nearly three years ago. And there still is no solution and not an ETA for it either. The DLC should not be sold anymore, if it cannot be accessed.

But then again, it is possible that not everybody is affected the same way. And for most people does the DLC in fact work? Even though I guess most people will not even realize that the DLC is missing as they wont finish the story of Ray Bibbia and wont be longing for more crazy bosses.

Anyway. I was advised by GOG to contact support directly via
support@headupgames.com
and
info@headupgames.com

I forwarded my ticket to support@headupgames.com and will keep you informed if I get any helpful reply.
Feel free of course to contact them too. Might help them realize that I am not just one single crazy person, but that the DLC is actually not functioning correctly.
