I'm about to buy the 2 games although I already own them on CD and I want to have the answer quick because the games were HEAVILY censored for german audience in the past!

+ they removed all the bugs. It's running perfectly on Windows 10 without any changes (except resolution).

It is possible (!), that this english version of "the suffering: ties that bind" IS CENSORED, but in completely another way than German low violence version:
In the first Level after you get the shotgun, decide to kill or not to kill the policeman captured by the prisoners, and after that leave the room, you hear a woman voice saying "he cut soo deep".
Then you meet the CREEPER, who in the small black-white scene kills her.

Now the censorship is possible: he doesnot say in GOG version his most famous line "Remember blood is the best lubricant".

In german retail version he says it, but of course in german language.
As the regional censorship concerning the "level-environment bound" violence level is controlled by the file "system.odu" you can only hear this lines and read subtitles if you use system.odu from the censored german version. So the the english audio file is not revomed, it is just not adressed in english version.
I first thought it was an audio bug (even the subtitles showed nothing), but then I checked youtube videos, and only 1 video of 10 with english audio had this line at that moment, BUT all the videos of the censored german version had it working (of cource in german).

Tthis is the only moment, where I noticed differences, as I played only few levels till yet...

Funny. Never heard about this kind of censorship and I diidn't recognize it while playing but it's really interesting. Thanks for the information. So I really enjoyed playing both titles again without any issues except known bugs in the middle of the game. Absolutely fantastic and horrifying games.

I have played this game 5 times in german (with 3 beginnigs based on different part 1 savestates) amd tried to get different stories and endings. And then playing it in englsih I just immediately recognized the missing lines )

I informed GOG support about this. Hopefully the missing dialogue can be restored if it was ever included in the PC version of the game. I never had this game on disc so I can't compare it with the GOG version. I also can't find any PC version videos on YT that have this line included. I'm only able to find videos from console versions where the Creeper will talk a little longer.

Using the 1.01 version (30th June 2018) of the AiO patch fixed the missing Creeper phrase. The "System.odu" file included was modified to restore the Creepers most famous sentence.

The hint with System.odu file really helped with pinpointing what the issue with the Creeper line is. I don't have the German version of the game, but I got my hands on the PS2 version, which helped with patching the System.odu file correctly.

At least according to PS2 version, the System.odu file has other differences, depending on the language of the game, so I noted in the patch Readme that this is only for English version, just in case applying it to non-English version would cause any other side effects.

Though at least for German version, messing with System.odu is not needed according to what has been posted in this thread.
