What a waste of my time played this game today the first time in one sitting, i can swear my game crashed at least 40 times during this if not more(i have recorded all of the gameplay as a livestream so i have evidence of this happening) on windows 10. I thought gog have a reputation for having game downloads that are good to go instead of wasting hours trying to find patches and bug fixes on the internet like its usually happens on steam well guess i was wrong extremely disappointed with this i repeat the game crashed 40+ times during my 9 hour play session not only that game is buggy - the last boss is BUGGED you need to do something very very specific in order to trigger a cutscene which you dont actualy have to do in any non bugged version of the game

what's the point then to buy gog games if we have to fix it/patch it in order to make it to work?

it is GOG's job to sell 100% working games that are fixed with patches and tweaked for modern hardware.

If I have to do it, I rather buy the retail version of the game and install the fixes myself, I won't give GOG a penny then.

GOG games should be 100% working from the box.

I am not lazy, what do you know about me to start with?

For your info, i own both SH3 and 4 on the pc, retail and I installed all the fixes that you can find on pcgamingwiki.

I own both games even before Gog started selling SH4

Also, not everybody is a computer geek/specialist (not talking about myself, but in general) to download and install fixes by themself, playing in the registry and copying dll files in the windows/system folder is not for everybody.

If you can do it/you know about computers, then fine, good for you, but not everybody is a tech savy to mess around with it.

In my comment, i just said my opinion, the gog version of The suffering is fixed by GOG, not by us.

First off your treating PC games like console games, Expecting them to all work from the get go...theres your first mistake.

well excuse me if I am paying for a full AAA game (not talking about the suffering, in general), I expect a fully working version, not a broken piece of shit that is badly optimised and runs like a Lada even on a good rig/hardware.

Do you know how much is a AAA game, here in Canada? Almost 100$ + taxes and you expect that I fix the game myself with 6+ patches and tweaks that the lazy devs are not capable of doing?

I am not a game tester, if they need one, they should hire some people that will test the games and work with the devs, it is their job, not ours.

also, if you didn't noticed, recent consoles games are broken too, check Cyberpunk 2077 release back in 2020. It was a bad game on console and on PC, devs patched and fixed the game for almost 2-3 years until it was playable.
