I booted up Ties that Bind without the AIO patch and somehow while it ran, the game script ing stopped working. In the prison riot at the beginning of the game a gaurd aprouched Miles and Torque and after a bit of diolog he just stands there. I tried downloading the AIO patch, but Norton 360 found Heur.AdvML.A. A virus. While I assume this may be a mistake by Norton 360, I removed the deleted files Norton quarantined and put them in the Suffering Ties that Bind folder. Now oddly enough the game won't lanch. When I run the AIO patch's EXE it tells me that it isn't compadible with my computer, with the message in blue "This app can't run on your PC."

Any advice?
The .exe was corrupted, that's why it says it isn't compatible. The only suggestion I have is don't let anti-virus touch it. The original .exe is picked up by some anti-virus software as well.

With regards to the scripted events in the game not working - is the frame rate higher than 60? Ties That Bind, like its predecessor, will not work properly beyond 60 frames per second (I know from personal experience with a copy I have from yesteryear). Turning vertical synchronization (if your monitor is 60 hertz) will restrict it to 60 frames per second.

If your monitor is higher than 60 hertz, then you will need to use the tool that gog bundled with The Suffering to cap the frames per second to 60.
