Is there an official order I should play this? I had the rom and now have the GOG and it still seems a tad vague. For the longest time I thought I might accidentally be playing in the wrong order because what I thought were the early missions were kicking my ass and I'm actually not to bad at the Settlers games. Thanks! :D

As far as I remember, there is no order, but I'd start with the Romans.

There is a bad joke in there somewhere. :P
Updating my own stupid thread I found a German site that has the missions specifically listed as "Campaign Missions" followed by the extra "Romans/Mayas/Vikings". I'll give it a shot and see if there is a difference in learning curve there.
I would suggest playing them in the released order, as the difficulty was usually set higher for every expansion pack;

-Main campaign(start with the three racial mini-campaigns and then go for the Dark Tribe);
-Mission CD(the first expansion pack);
-Add On(the second, start with the Trojans here).

If you happen to somehow own the german-only expansion packs("The new world"and"Community pack"), I'd recommend playing the New world at the very end(as the missions are complex, but have a more"relaxed"feeling, and the tropical textures are just gorgeous). The community pack isn't specially hard depending on the mission, but as you get access to all missions right out of the box, you can easily choose one of the most difficult ones at the start... Anyway, wrapping up;

1-Main campaign
2-Mission CD
3- Add On
4- Community pack
5- The New World

(If you only own GOG's version, ignore the part in which I talk about the german-only expansions, as they're[obviously] not included here. But they're compatible!)

Thanks and a special pat on the back for going above and beyond with the pic. Serious, very nice. Now if I could only manage to not get my ass kicked in Roman #2 I could have some fun here.

Sad thing is I owned #4 on disc long before I got it here and managed to get through 75% of those first trios but I must have lost my touch because I'm getting my ass handed to me now. XD
I cant play S4 because of a Bug that is going in place because i got Windows 10... what do i do
