I am playing Settlers: Rise of an Empire. I am on mission 2, Chalia. I have pretty much worked out the basic game mechanics but have gotten stuck on the part where you are supposed to buy salt from the harbor. When I click the appropriate icon, it tells me my storehouse is full. No matter how much I reduce the amount of either raw or produced goods in my storehouse, it is always 'full' when I try to buy the salt.
I saw this question asked on older forums around the web, but it was usually paired with an issue of being unable to buy anything from any other town. In my case, I have no issues with trade of any kind except for buying the salt. It seems that the game will not progress until salt is bought?
I also observed that there isn't any grayed out icon for salt in the storehouse, but I've read that salt and dyes are 'extras' so maybe there isn't supposed to be a slot for it...
Is it a simple game mechanic that I've missed? Is it some sort of bug come back to life? Do I need the salt to finish the mission? I hope the answer can be found; this is an enjoyable game to play!
Thanks!
