Is the GOG version is diffrent in some way from disk version? Like whether the GOG version have some updates\patches that original version doesn't have?

It is exactly the same version like the one from CD with just a modified exe so it does not need a CD.

There is one "patch", though: on Win 8 and 10 the black bar on top of the screen is being prevented - but you get the same patch when you install the aLobby, so this is nothing unique.
