Greetings to all

I am playing Settlers III, I have a question regarding magic.
The Asian race has a monk spell that can create iron out of stone.
How do I cast the spell? I tried putting all Stone that I have into a storage near my temple and my monks.
But nothing happens.

What are the controls for spell casting?

You need alcohol to get mana. In case of Asians it's rice wine.

Once you have enouugh to cast a spell, click on spell from menu then on stone in storage.

For efficient casting, make sure lots of stone lies together.

Each subsequent casting of spell costs more mana.
