Hey folks

I'm using Windows 7 and running as administrator. I started playing and got to the first mission OK, but as soon as I try to move the screen, static streaks from the original screen are sort of stuck and the remaining streaks on the screen move and change as expected. Hopefully that makes sense. Basically the screen get messy when I try to move around. Any idea what the problem is?

I'm also seeing this glitch. Every so often they don't appear - but 99% of the time there are streaks at the top and the bottom that do not change when the camera moves. It makes the game completely unplayable.

I'm also on Windows 7, running as administrator and in Windows XP (SP2) compatibility mode. I've been trying the guidance on the help pages to no avail.

There should be a "SetupS3.exe" in the game directory. Run it and untick "Wait for for vertical blank" set landscape shadows to "transparent shadows"

Try that and see if it works.

Edit: Alternatively try leaving the vertical blank box ticked, Change shadows to dithered shadows and set fading to standard fading.

The exact combination suggested wasn't the one that worked for me but fiddling with those settings sorted that problem. Thanks!
If you don't mind me asking, what combination did you use? Because I'm still having issues after trying the aforementioned fix.
Not at all. I've kept the vertical blank box ticked, switched to dithered shadows and standard fading. Originally I had transparent shadows and very smooth fading. Hope that works for you.
