Hi all,

please help with this problem I run in with The Settlers II Gold Edition: I install the game, then start it the first time. When intro movie starts, I press ESC and then the game goes correctly to the main menu, so I can start a new game, campaign or whatever.

Then I quit and restart the game. From the second time I start the game after have installed it, I run into a problem. At the very beginning, when I press ESC to skip intro movie, the game crashes as well as DOSBox, I can see a very quick message in a DOS console, then I'm back to the desktop.

For play it again after the first time I've executed it, I must unistall and install it again. I have now windows 8.1, on windows 7 in past times never had such a trouble.
